3 Pelvic Floor Stretches

People that have pelvic pain often benefit from stretching the pelvic floor muscles and doing calming breathing to help them move into a more parasympathetic state.

My 3 favorite stretches are child’s pose with your knees pointed in a little, happy baby, and a deep supported wall squat. Breathe into the pelvic floor, imagine breathing into the area around the tailbone and softening the muscles “down there”

They all work but the nice thing about a supported wall squat is you can do this at work/in public and it’s socially acceptable.

Here’s a video of them.

**if any of these positions are painful don’t do it**
